<CENTER> was founded in 1972 to organise and represent the interests of
everybody involved in radio controlled soaring.<BR> The Association has been in
existence for over 25 years and has as members enthusiasts representing all the

d'Honneur by the Royal Aero Club in recognition of its achievements in

national and international programme of radio controlled soaring events. Well
organised and friendly competitions are held virtually every weekend,
throughout the summer flying season, at venues up and down the country. Members
are kept in touch by "SOARER", BARCS' internationally respected magazine, which
carries coverage of competition activities, technical developments and much
else beside.</P></TD>
